Curtis is a two-time Iron Man Triathlete (2017 and 2018) and two-sport former collegiate athlete in lacrosse and basketball.

Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science & Physical Therapy in 1997, Curtis began his career in the field of Physical Rehabilitation. His work naturally evolved to Fitness in 1998, where he maintained a focus on rehabilitation and optimization through efficient movement.

He has since pursued the highest credentials in the field of fitness and has become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2001.

Curtis‘ core taught fitness concepts center around the belief that improved strength is achieved by optimizing one’s own movement first. He has a central focus on improving human biomechanics, while utilizing Movement Efficiency Training, Movement Restoration and Strengthening Functional Movement Patterns.

A revered fitness industry veteran who brings a unique style and approach to his craft, Curtis has helped thousands of clients with his own training philosophy which is applicable to clients of all ages and fitness levels.
